This project was designed to improve the quality of development assistance provided by New Zealand international development consultants and practitioners through targeted training and development. The work was completed over 2 years.
A hallmark of our work is that we take a systemic view. We involved the people concerned, using their wisdom gained from experience. Through interaction and participation, development practitioners, government and community agencies, tertiary educators, and foreign nationals generated solutions to dilemmas they identified.
The project resulted in a strategy called "Best Practice for Development" and lead to the establishment of NZAID. |
